Corning Incorporated is seeking a Senior Production Planner to optimize production schedules across global manufacturing sites. You will balance customer demand, inventory, capacity, and resources while driving continuous improvement and on-time delivery.

You will partner with Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and regional teams, leverage SAP planning tools, and lead data-driven initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and reduce risk in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, International Business or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong SAP experience, including planning-related transactions and production order management.
• Solid understanding of production processes, capacity planning, inventory management, MRP, and material flow.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other planning/reporting tools.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and manage production schedules to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Monitor, analyze, and report key planning and operational metrics to ensure targets are met.
• Partner with Operations and Planning teams to evaluate capacity constraints and balance workloads.
• Analyze supply and demand gaps, identify risks, and drive mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams, Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders to resolve shortages and disruptions.
• Utilize SAP planning tools to manage production orders and planning execution.
• Review and maintain planning-related master data and system parameters to improve MRP output.
• Generate and analyze reports related to production adherence, capacity, utilization, and inventory performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase planning efficiency and reduce waste.
