Corning Incorporated in Mexico seeks a Senior Production Planner to develop and manage production plans, balancing customer demand with inventory and resources. You will drive performance, partner with global teams, and lead continuous improvements to ensure on-time delivery and supply continuity.

The role requires strong SAP experience, 5+ years in production planning, and advanced English communication skills in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Strong SAP experience with planning-related transactions and production order management.
• Solid understanding of production processes, capacity planning, inventory management, MRP, and material flow.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other planning/reporting tools.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and manage production schedules aligned with demand, inventory goals, and resources.
• Monitor and report planning metrics like OTP, PLT, order dating, late backlog, and schedule attainment.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering and global teams to balance workloads.
• Analyze supply and demand gaps, identify risks, and drive mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with regional and global teams to resolve shortages and changes.
• Utilize SAP planning tools to manage production orders and planning execution.
• Review and maintain master data and system parameters to improve MRP output.
• Generate reports on production adherence, capacity, and inventory performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase planning efficiency and reduce waste.
• Act as escalation lead for critical planning and supply issues.
• Partner with Corning sites and global teams to meet customer requirements.
