Belden Inc. in Mexico (Tijuana) seeks an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead plans for future-state processes and implement improvements within the core team.

You will drive Lean initiatives, ensure safety, quality, cost, delivery, and inventory targets are met for new processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. The role requires a manufacturing process engineering degree and at least five years in engineering positions with Lean manufacturing

Formación

• Manufacturing process engineering degree required.
• 5+ years in engineering with Lean manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new capable processes to sustain the fiber growth strategy.
• Capacity Analysis for new projects (equipment, labor, space) to determine feasibility / budget needed to execute.
• Production yield, productivity, downtime tracking and corrective action.
• Apply experience and engineering techniques to solve problems in NPI, design, redesign or troubleshooting.
• May supervise and/or provide technical and safety direction to peers; may serve as project leader.
• Meet with external customers (R&D) and suppliers to exchange information and assist with technical problems to sustain / improve processes.
• Participate in project planning and may direct portions of smaller projects or segments of large projects.
