Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Lean & Process Simulation Engineer to drive manufacturing transformation through advanced process simulation, capacity analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

You will develop, validate, and utilize discrete-event simulation models to evaluate scenarios, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization in future-state manufacturing environments. Fluency in English and collaboration across multiple functions are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of related experience in process simulation, industrial engineering, or manufacturing transformation.
• Proven experience developing and validating discrete-event simulation models for manufacturing or logistics.
• Experience with simulation tools such as FlexSim, Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, Simul8, ProModel, or Arena.
• Conversational English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, validation, and maintenance of discrete-event simulation models for manufacturing, warehouse, material flow, and logistics processes.
• Develop simulation inputs based on cycle times, throughput, capacity, and routing logic.
• Support Lean initiatives by validating future-state scenarios and layout changes.
• Build and analyze simulation scenarios to evaluate capacity, bottlenecks, and resource allocation.
• Design and run what-if studies to support decisions on equipment validation, headcount, and technology implementation.
• Develop simulation reports, dashboards, and KPI outputs for cross-functional leadership.
