Corning Reynosa is seeking a Senior Extrusion Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead development and improvement of process systems, drive cost and quality gains, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across global suppliers.

The role emphasizes process qualification, project leadership, and applying Six Sigma methodologies, with a focus on safety, documentation, and continuous improvement in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands on experience in manufacturing process engineering in an industrial or maquiladora environment.
• Active Green Belt Certification; Black Belt or Lean Belt certification is a strong advantage.
• Solid command of statistical tools: DOE, GR&R, process capability analysis, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
• Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen; project management experience.
• Advanced English proficiency for technical communication with global teams and suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, coach engineers, and drive results across cross-functional groups.
• Ability to travel up to 20% based on project and business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment evaluating cost, quality, and capability.
• Apply Six Sigma, DMAIC, and Lean methodologies with DOE, GR&R, and other tools.
• Manage project workstreams and external partners to deliver integrated process systems on time and budget.
• Support root cause identification and resolution for manufacturing issues and champion safety and 5S Kaizen initiatives.
