Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a senior process and accounting professional to lead the process team in complex accounting tasks in line with company standards and SLAs. The role focuses on resolving discrepancies, system administration, and ensuring robust controls across transactional processes.

The candidate will coach and develop team members, manage reconciliations, tax packs and financial reporting, while supporting hotel transitions to new processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (finance/accounting).
• 4–7 years progressive experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and principles.
• Proficiency with PeopleSoft, 10 key and MS Office.
• Demonstrated project management and team leadership capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Process team to deliver complex accounting and system-related tasks per SLAs.
• Coach, train and appraise team members; develop training materials.
• Handle complex transactions, reconciliations and financial reporting; ensure controls.
• Oversee tax, cash management and intercompany activities related to process scope.
• Administer system changes, new locations, and interface reconciliations; liaise with IT/system support.
