PepsiCo Deutschland GmbH seeks a Senior Principal Engineer in Application Architecture to define and drive an end-to-end architecture vision. You will lead globally distributed teams, set standards, and collaborate with executives to align technology with business goals.

The role emphasizes modular design, AI-enabled tooling, and cost-efficient, observable systems. You will shape enterprise frameworks, guide transition roadmaps, and champion reuse while advancing scalable, resilient software

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development and engineering leadership experience.
• Experience defining enterprise architecture strategy and governance.
• 7+ years architecting fault-tolerant, high-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud-native platforms and AI-enabled tools.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and OOD.

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive the application architecture vision aligned to S&T goals.
• Lead globally distributed engineering teams and mentor engineers.
• Engage executives to shape software engineering narrative and direction.
• Establish architecture standards, governance, and reuse across solutions.
• Design target-state architectures and roadmaps from current to future state.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and cost-optimization practices.
