Job summary

Tyson Mexico seeks an experienced Senior Development Engineer to lead software initiatives across front-end, back-end, data, and testing domains. You will define and encode AI-driven engineering standards, mentor junior engineers, review code, and drive best practices across the stack.

You will coordinate complex projects, design scalable architectures, and oversee performance testing, data pipelines, and enterprise integrations, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in CS/CE/IS or related field, or significant relevant experience.
• Evidence of leadership in software projects and teams.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and prompt standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead software projects and teams across multiple skill areas.
• Encode engineering standards into AI coding agents and prompts.
• Coach engineers on AI-assisted development and conduct code reviews.
• Design, code, and debug applications across front-end and back-end stacks.
• Develop testing frameworks and drive automated testing strategies.
• Architect data pipelines, ETL, and data governance practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and oversee enterprise integration efforts.
