PepsiCo is seeking a Senior SWE & App Arch Sr Principal Engineer to shape enterprise architecture and drive digital transformation across its global value chain. You will lead diverse engineering teams, define standards, and ensure scalable, observable systems aligned with business goals.

You will evaluate emerging technologies, build reusable platforms, and oversee cost-efficient architectures, balancing speed, quality, and reuse across solutions.

Formación

• 10+ years of software development and engineering leadership.
• Experience defining and driving enterprise architecture strategy and governance.
• 7+ years architecting fault-tolerant, high-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with high-throughput, cloud-native distributed systems.
• Experience with mission-critical, 24x7 systems.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and cloud-native PaaS/SaaS solutions.
• Experience implementing monitoring, observability, and reliability practices.
• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience building reusable platforms, shared services, or reference architectures.
• Deep knowledge of design patterns and algorithms.
• Full-stack engineering experience and frontend technologies.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools.

• Manage delivery risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Define development standards, guidelines, and integration patterns.
• Design target-state architecture and roadmaps.
• Lead the design of scalable enterprise applications and cost-efficient solutions.
• Enable integration across systems and maintain architecture artifacts.
• Evaluate emerging technologies including AI-enabled tools.
