Johnson Controls is a global leader in building technologies, seeking a senior Power Electronics Engineer at its Mexico facility. You will design, test, and maintain power electronics for chiller applications, defining specifications and ensuring compliance through robust documentation.
You will collaborate with global teams, lead troubleshooting of field and factory issues, and travel up to 10% to visit customers, factories, and conferences as required.
Formación
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics.
- Minimum 7 years of industry experience in Power Electronics.
- Ph.D. in Power Electronics preferred.
- Strong experience with power electronics controls and IGBT-based inverters.
- Proficient in Matlab/Simulink, OPAL-RT, Saber.
Responsabilidades
- Design, test, and maintain power electronics products and systems for chillers.
- Define design specifications; create compliance procedures for circuitry.
- Prepare and coordinate documentation to support component design and manufacturing.
- Lead troubleshooting of field and factory issues; analyze cost impacts of changes.
- Travel to visit customers, factories, and conferences as needed.
