Job summary
Mopar in Saltillo is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to plan preventive and corrective actions on automated equipment. You will coordinate spare parts, train staff, and ensure continuous production at the General Assembly plant.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in electronics/electrical/mechatronics with 5+ years in a similar role, strong PLC/robotics knowledge, and English skills (60–80%).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electronics, electrical or mechatronics.
- 5+ years in a similar maintenance leadership role.
- Advanced knowledge of PLCs, robotics, networks and drive systems.
- Experience with spare parts control and safety at work.
- English 60-80% speaking/reading/writing; ability to train staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepare maintenance plans and coordinate preventive/corrective tasks.
- Register new maintenance activities in the Total Maintenance System.
- Create standard work instructions and SMPs; train personnel.
- Control spare parts and ensure availability to avoid downtime.
- Develop failure analysis and improvement strategies for equipment.
- Monitor SPW implementation; support production and related areas.
- Lead training plans for technology used in General Assembly.
- Coordinate with Vehicle Process Engineering and others.
- Ensure safety compliance and drive continuous improvement.
