Job summary

Mastercard Inc. seeks a Director, People Business Partner to support North Latin America & Caribbean markets and regional portfolios across LAC.

This role requires a strategic, commercially minded partner who can influence senior leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy, and talent decisions within a highly matrixed environment. The position combines market-level partnership with regional BU support (roughly 50/50 across Mexico and North LAC and across LAC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a strategic HR role within a multinational organization.
• Strong partnering experience with senior leaders influencing talent, workforce, and org decisions in a matrixed environment.
• Solid understanding of talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to execute people strategies that support business objectives and organizational effectiveness across North LAC.
• Provide coaching on leadership effectiveness, talent development, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
• Advise managers and employees on people and employee relations matters, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
• Use workforce data and market insights to identify talent needs and improve engagement and experience.
• Collaborate with Centers of Expertise and People Services to implement enterprise programs and regional initiatives.
