Cognizant in Mexico City is seeking a Senior OTA Software Test Engineer to shape the end-to-end verification for the Software Updates initiative, guiding manual and automated testing and coordinating with OTA Test coordinators.

You will design automated test strategies, build scalable Python and CAPL frameworks, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory alignment.

Formación

• Hands-on expertise in vTestStudio and automotive toolchains for end-to-end verification workflows.
• Advanced Python scripting to build modular test components and automation glue code.
• CAPL scripting to design bus-level test cases and validate network behaviors.

Responsabilidades

• Design automated test strategies for automotive systems using vTestStudio and custom frameworks.
• Develop and enhance scalable test frameworks with Python and CAPL for efficiency.
• Create reusable automated test scripts to enable complex verification workflows.
• Execute auto verification plans on embedded/system components ensuring quality.
• Analyze test results and document defects for rapid resolution by teams.
• Coordinate test activities with global teams and manage dependencies.
• Optimize test execution pipelines to reduce cycle time with high accuracy.
• Provide guidance on framework usage and scripting patterns across projects.
• Prepare clear procedures and data management documentation for audits.
