Carrier Global Corporation in Mexico is seeking an Associate Engineer for the Air-Cooled Chillers Lab to plan and execute electrical, mechanical, and performance tests on cooling products. This role supports engineering and product development teams while promoting safety, quality, and continuous improvement in the lab.

You will conduct tests to AHRI/ASHRAE standards, prepare reports, and ensure certifications are met, contributing to reliable lab operations and compliance with 5S and Kaizen

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechatronics, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• 1+ year experience as a Test Technician or Maintenance Technician.
• Knowledge of AHRI 550/590, ASHRAE 30, and/or similar standards.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and air-/water-cooled chillers and related electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience following and executing maintenance programs for testing laboratories.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and perform electrical and functional testing of air-cooled chillers per AHRI/ASHRAE standards.
• Execute tests within established timelines and prepare test reports.
• Collaborate to ensure laboratory certifications and accreditations (UL, ISO, ETL).
• Promote 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement in the lab environment.
• Follow and execute maintenance programs for testing laboratories.
