Bluelightconsulting seeks a senior backend-focused software developer to join our expanding team. You will contribute to scalable RESTful APIs, low-latency services in AWS, and multi-tenant architectures while collaborating with frontend work when needed.

You will work remotely with flexible hours, benefiting from competitive compensation, generous PTO, and ongoing education opportunities. A Bachelor’s degree is required and overlap with US business hours is preferred.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices including integration tests against real databases and fault injection testing.
• Experience with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development with frontend contribution when needed.
• Background with large, complex systems.
• Overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
