Bluelight is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will design and implement backend services, APIs, and data models for scalable, secure multi-tenant environments.

You will collaborate across frontend and backend teams, leverage AWS for low-latency systems, and participate in CI/CD, testing, and innovation with AI coding assistants. A Bachelor’s degree is required, and remote work is supported.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations and PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including RLS.
• Secure multi-tenant environments and raw SQL with migrations.
• Professional experience with React and solid testing incl. integration tests.
• Experience with containerized services on AWS Fargate/ECS and schema-first validation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop high-quality back-end services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to frontend work when needed.
• Implement secure multi-tenant architectures and data models.
• Own testing strategies, including integration tests against real databases.
