Bluelight Consulting is seeking an experienced backend-focused software engineer to design and build low-latency RESTful APIs on AWS. You will contribute to scalable services, write efficient SQL, and collaborate with frontend teams to deliver high-quality applications.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to overlap US business hours while participating in a dynamic, growth-oriented consulting environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, backend-focused.
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency RESTful APIs on AWS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and RLS, multi-tenant environments.
• Ability to write raw SQL and manage migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Proficient in React and end-to-end testing with real databases.
• Overlap US business hours; Bachelor's degree is required.
