Bluelight Consulting is seeking a senior backend-focused software developer to join a fast-paced, growth-oriented team. You will work on high-impact projects, primarily using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS to deliver scalable APIs and secure multi-tenant systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to frontend tasks when needed, and participate in CI/CD and testing practices. A strong bias for ownership, problem solving, and meticulous detail will help you excel in this

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing.
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed.
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
