Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Application Support professional to provide L2/L3 support for enterprise .NET applications. You will investigate incidents, debug issues, and implement fixes or minor enhancements while maintaining SQL Server performance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or related roles for enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with SQL Server including query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core including debugging and log analysis.
• Knowledge of SSIS, SQL Agent, incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and ITIL-based support processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for .NET applications including incident investigation, debugging, and applying fixes or minor enhancements.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and complex queries.
• Perform root cause analysis for application issues, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks; document findings and solutions.
• Monitor and support SSIS packages, SQL Agent jobs, and data integration processes to ensure reliability and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to support releases, deployments, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
