Walmart Global Tech in Mexico City is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to contribute as an individual contributor on platform-level work, driving end-to-end delivery and mentoring peers. You will shape the technical direction for our Hybrid architecture and ensure robust software outcomes.

Bring 5+ years of .NET/.NET Core experience, modern C#, and a strong sense for SOLID design, TDD/DDD/BDD, and distributed systems; experience with Azure Functions, React, or ASP.NET is a plus.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on coding with .NET and .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of modern C# (async/await, LINQ, OOP).
• Familiar with TDD, DDD and BDD.
• Experience with distributed systems and event sourcing.
• Solid understanding of design patterns.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion to learn and explore software in depth.
• Nice-to-have: Azure Functions, React, ASP.NET.

Responsabilidades

• Translate complex business processes into concrete technical implementations.
• Follow and act upon the established deployment pipeline.
• Read and interpret design diagrams and mentor junior engineers.
• Review pull requests to ensure best practices.
• Write code aligned with SOLID principles and appropriate design patterns.
• Design and develop tests across the lifecycle, including E2E tests.
• Analyze legacy codebases and lead their modernization.
