LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to lead advanced software development and implementation. You will translate user requests into effective solutions and contribute to project plans and schedules.

This role requires collaboration across teams, experience with .NET (C#), and a passion for designing complex data models while staying current with evolving technologies. Onsite in Mexico City two days per week.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience designing and developing software within a product or functional area
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
• Proficiency in working with data models, data storage subsystems, and data manipulation techniques
• Ability to work effectively across teams and interface with technical stakeholders
• Experience applying industry best practices in software development and testing
• Ability to write and review technical documentation and specifications
• Reside in Mexico City and available to work onsite 2 days per week.

Responsabilidades

• Performing complex research, design, and software development tasks within a software functional area or product line such as Lexis+ AI.
• Writing and reviewing detailed specifications for complex system components.
• Completing complex bug fixes and resolving technical issues as necessary.
• Understanding and translating complex product requirements into software designs.
• Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and conducting code reviews.
• Designing and working with complex data models.
• Keeping abreast of new technology developments and interfacing with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
