You will develop initial sketches, layouts, and notes for design proposals, and consider ease of manufacture and material availability in the design process.

Formación

• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of engineering theories, design principles and practices, and design evaluation techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email usage.

Responsabilidades

• Leads design and development of complex plastic molded sub-assemblies, components, and packaging.
• Leads development and implementation of changes to product design and/or the manufacturing process to achieve efficiency, quality, and/or cost improvements.
• Develops specifications, CAD layouts, drawings, BOMs, and budgets for complex assemblies.
• Interacts with customers as the technical interface for product design and economic production.
• Assesses material, tooling, automation and equipment selection.
