Jabil designs, fabricates and tests molded assemblies and components to optimize manufacturing operations. The role focuses on leading design development, evaluating materials and creating documentation for production, including automation and tooling considerations.

Candidate will work with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, quality and cost targets, while researching new technologies and tooling options.

Formación

• Experience designing molded assemblies, components and packaging for manufacturing.
• Ability to develop requirement specs, system concepts and CAD layouts.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials selection.
• Familiarity with automation, tooling and lean manufacturing concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development of complex plastic molded sub-assemblies, components and packaging.
• Drive changes to product design and manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality and cost improvements.
• Develop specifications, layouts, BOMs and budgets; create detailed drawings for production.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and customers, ensuring designs meet regulatory and quality standards.
