Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a remote-first, cloud-native team in Mexico. You will design, develop, and deploy sophisticated ML models powering multiple product lines, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms and their ML services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering practices.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Develop and optimize ML models for NLP, CV, and analytics applications.
