Victaulic is seeking a Metallurgist Engineer in Chihuahua to supervise metallurgical processes, lead analytical efforts, and drive continuous improvement across casting and metal transformation operations.

You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Production, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while delivering data-driven recommendations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field is required.
• English proficiency is essential for collaboration with global teams.
• 8+ years' experience in a metallurgical/quality role is expected.
• Experience with nodular iron manufacturing and sand molding is required.
• Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methods.

Aufgaben

• Lead metallurgical analysis, microstructures, heat treatments and material properties.
• supervise productions and mentor multidisciplinary teams on metallurgical processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste in casting.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, quality regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, datasets and recommendations for management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams.
