Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, seeks an experienced engineer to apply Python, machine learning, and MES–ERP integration expertise to improve plant performance. You will develop and enhance MES applications and analytics to turn data into actionable insights.

You will apply AI and data analytics, integrating MES with ERP and collaborating with Engineering and Quality under the IT Site Manager. The role is 100% onsite at the Reynosa plant with standard work hours and no expected

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience developing manufacturing systems.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience in data analysis, data modeling and statistical analysis.
• Machine learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow; MES platforms knowledge; C#, SQL and Visual Basic.
• Conversational English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance MES applications and integrations with ERP systems.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve production performance.
• Develop and implement Python-based machine learning solutions to support process optimization and predictive analytics.
• Propose new technologies and collaborate with Engineering and Quality to implement solutions, document changes and support plant users.
