Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, is seeking a Senior Automation Project Engineer to lead automation projects that enhance equipment reliability, process capability, and manufacturing efficiency.

You will partner with production, development, and research teams to deploy new automated technologies, train personnel, and drive continuous improvements across operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC programming and automated equipment troubleshooting.
• Proven project management experience, including leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Experience supporting new product introduction and implementation of new manufacturing technologies.
• Ability to analyze process and equipment performance data and use problem-solving tools to drive improvements.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to influence teams and drive results.

Responsabilidades

• Lead automation-focused projects to improve equipment reliability, process capability, production capacity, and overall manufacturing performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment, material, and process issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Support the introduction of new automated equipment, technologies, and new products into manufacturing operations.
• Train engineers, technicians, operators, and trades personnel on automated systems, processes, and best practices.
