Job summary

Corning Inc. in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, is seeking an experienced software engineer to advance manufacturing systems with Python, ML and MES integrations. This role reports to the IT Site Manager and works closely with Engineering and Quality to turn data into practical plant improvements.

You will develop MES applications, integrate MES with ERP, and implement Python-based ML for process optimization and predictive analytics, while evaluating new technologies with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience developing manufacturing systems.
• Experience with data analysis, data modeling and statistics, plus ML tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance MES apps and ERP integrations; analyze data to improve production.
• Develop Python-based ML solutions to support process optimization and predictive analytics.
• Propose new technologies and collaborate to implement solutions and document changes.
