Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation on-site in Santa Catarina, NL, Mexico, seeks a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to drive product development and component optimization. You will lead cross-functional efforts, manage cost estimates and specifications, and validate designs through testing.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering and 5–7 years in HVAC or related fields, with DFMEA/PFMEA, GD&T, DFM, and ERP/PLM experience (SAP/Windchill).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Manufacturing Engineering.
5–7 years in product development, sustaining, value engineering, cost reduction or manufacturing support (HVAC/refrigeration).
Experience with ERP/PLM systems and successful project financial justifications.

Responsibilities

Manage elements of product development including cost estimates, specs, layouts and performance requirements.
Execute tests and qualification for systems, sub-systems and components.
Enhance commonality and optimization of products and components.
Produce parts, designs, or sketches for machines and work orders; support field issue verification.
