Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our climate and energy solutions team in Mexico. You will conduct product development activities, run tests, and produce parts or sketches while adhering to design, safety and qualification standards.

You will support existing platforms and introduce new reciprocating and screw HVAC compressors, collaborating with global teams, designers and suppliers to implement changes from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Advanced English language required.
• 2+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Familiarity with compressors, engines or rotating equipment.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, quality tools and GD&T appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the manufacturing of existing platforms and introducing new compressors with global cross-functional teams.
• Collaborating with design/drafting teams to implement product changes from concept to production.
• Timely evaluation of product manufacturing and quality investigations.
• Working with a global team of engineers, designers, and operations to sustain compression platforms.
• Applying engineering and quality tools to improve design, manufacturability and cost.
