Caterpillar Inc. in Torreón, Mexico, seeks a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations to oversee daily plant activities onsite five days a week. You will direct production, maintenance, engineering support, safety, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

The role requires a strong engineering background with 8+ years in operations or manufacturing engineering, plus leadership to develop and mentor teams in a safe, productive environment.

Formación

• Education: Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in Operations, Quality, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in applying Continuous Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma tools; Personnel management as leader of leaders.
• Leadership: Train personnel, manage teams, promote safety culture.
• English Level: Pre-Advanced; Top candidates: English Advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees and directs daily plant operations including production, manufacturing, maintenance, engineering support, safety, regulatory compliance, distribution and warehousing.
• Directing programs for hiring, performance management and training of staff for plant operations.
• Directing all aspects of manufacturing operations to produce cost-effective, high-quality products in a safe environment.
• Developing and improving operating methods, equipment, systems and infrastructure to achieve goals.
• Developing production work schedules to meet internal and customer goals; monitor performance to remove impediments.
