Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Mexico to lead design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and lines in a Lean environment. You will drive operational excellence through Lean methods and strategic project management across cross-functional teams.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing/industrial engineering, plus experience in capacity expansion, line balancing, and facility layout optimization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Project Management preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or Operations.
• Experience designing and launching manufacturing lines from concept to production.
• Proven track record in capacity expansion and productivity improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead manufacturing projects from concept through implementation and stabilization.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage capacity expansion, automation, and process transfer projects.
• Apply PMP/PMBOK, Agile, or Scrum methodologies to deliver on time and budget.
• Design and launch new production lines based on Lean principles.
• Develop material and information flow systems to maximize productivity.
• Define equipment, manpower, tooling, and capacity requirements.
• Establish standardized work, visual management, and SOPs.
• Implement Pull Systems, Kanban, Heijunka, JIT, and Continuous Flow.
