Job summary

Littelfuse seeks a Building Maintenance General Supervisor in Piedras Negras, Coahuila to lead daily maintenance operations and drive reliability improvements. You will oversee preventive and corrective programs, manage a technical team, and ensure compliance with Mexican regulations and 6S standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in industrial maintenance, and strong leadership with advanced Excel and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Experience supervising and developing maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance systems incl. compressors and A/C.
• Knowledge of Mexican regulations and technical standards for electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic installs.
• Experience implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Experience monitoring maintenance KPIs and improving reliability/efficiency.
• Experience performing root cause analysis (Six Sigma/Ishikawa).
• Experience planning improvement projects for equipment/facilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; advanced Excel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• English proficiency B2–C1.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train the maintenance team to meet KPI targets.
• Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Monitor KPIs and identify optimization opportunities for equipment and costs.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Oversee safe operation and maintenance of building systems including compressors and A/C.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican regulations and 6S standards.
• Support internal and external audits (IATF, VDA 6.3).
• Utilize Excel to analyze maintenance data and support decisions.
