Littelfuse in Mexico seeks a Sustaining Engineer to manage engineering changes, support new launches, and secure product certifications with regulatory bodies. You will apply DFSS and DFM methods, develop cost-reduction proposals, and work with operations and service teams to keep products competitive.

This role requires 3+ years of experience, strong English (80%), familiarity with ISO/TS standards, and knowledge of tools like FMEA, APQP, and PPAP.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional experience in sustaining/engineering roles.
• English proficiency: at least 80% (written, reading or conversational).
• Desirable knowledge of Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, APQP, PPAP, SPC).
• Familiarity with ISO or TS standards.
• Problem solving techniques.
• Design software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor).

Responsabilidades

• Manage and implement engineering changes to products.
• Develop cost-reduction proposals (VAVE).
• Oversee product certifications with regulatory agencies (UL, CSA, VDE, etc.).
• Attend phase reviews from phase 1 to 5 on new launches.
• Clarify technical application requirements for internal and external customers.
