Corning is seeking a Lean & Process Simulation Engineer in Reynosa, MX, to drive manufacturing transformation through process simulation, capacity analysis and data-driven decisions. You will build and validate discrete-event models, integrating CAD layouts and routing logic to guide future-state design and automation projects.

Formación
- 5+ years of experience in process simulation or manufacturing engineering.
- Proven ability to validate discrete-event models used in manufacturing.
- Experience with capacity planning and bottleneck analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and data visualization.
- Conversational English proficiency.
Responsabilidades
- Lead development, validation and maintenance of discrete-event simulation models for manufacturing, warehouse and logistics.
- Develop simulation inputs from baselines: cycle time, takt time, capacity, throughput and routing logic.
- Support Lean and CI by validating future-state scenarios and line balancing.
- Create scenarios to evaluate capacity, bottlenecks, equipment utilization and material flow.
- Support automation projects by simulating manual and automated processes including robots and conveyors.
- Update CAD layouts, product flows and work centers to reflect current and future states.
- Design what-if studies and optimization to aid decisions on headcount, scheduling and costs.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, KPI outputs and presentations for cross-functional teams.
