Zusammenfassung

Wabtec is seeking a LATAM Customs Compliance Region Leader to manage the customs compliance strategy for LATAM entities acting as importer or exporter of record. You will implement and enforce the enterprise standard, working cross-functionally to ensure adherence to laws while enabling business operations.

Reporting to the Director, Global Exports and Customs Compliance, you will lead a team and drive improvements in tariff management, regulatory adherence, and risk mitigation across LATAM.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of customs compliance experience with people leader experience.
• Licensed Customs Broker or in-country equivalent certification.
• Deep knowledge of LATAM import/export regulations.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.

• Responsible for LATAM customs laws and regulations compliance.
• Operationalize the Customs Compliance Enterprise Standard.
• Maintain local standard work processes aligned with the Enterprise Standard.
• Drive customs compliance processes and timelines.
• Respond to customs inquiries from government bodies.
• Lead issue resolution and trade compliance in the region.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting Wabtec units.
• Conduct customs and trade compliance training as needed.
• Oversee Customs Broker/Agent activities.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to mitigate compliance risk.
