GE HealthCare is seeking a LATAM Customs Compliance Leader to drive governance, compliance, and risk management across the Latin America region. This role ensures alignment with regulations and GE HealthCare policies through audits, monitoring, and broker oversight.

The position serves as a trusted advisor to operations and business teams, guiding corrective actions and continuous improvement to strengthen regional customs processes and controls. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Admin, Supply Chain, Logistics, Law, Finance or related field.
• Extensive experience in Customs Compliance and Global Trade.
• Experience managing or participating in customs audits and regulatory reviews.
• Knowledge of LATAM customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.
• Experience with customs brokers and third-party providers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risk and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across multiple countries.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead LATAM customs governance activities across LATAM, ensuring adherence to applicable customs regulations and GE HealthCare policies.
• Plan, execute, and coordinate internal audits, external regulatory audits, and regional customs monitoring reviews.
• Assess customs-related processes and controls, identifying risks and driving corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, and business stakeholders to ensure compliant import and export activities across the region.
• Lead Customs Broker Management processes, including performance oversight, compliance reviews, and governance initiatives.
• Manage third-party Due Diligence and approval processes in accordance with company compliance requirements.
• Serve as the regional customs compliance advisor, providing guidance on regulatory requirements, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement opportunities.
