Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a senior L3 support software engineer to act as the final escalation point for field issues on the ELERATM Commerce platform. You will collaborate with L2, troubleshoot production incidents, and develop software while documenting designs.

You will analyze vulnerabilities, improve services, and mentor junior staff in a dynamic, international environment. This role offers direct employment with Toshiba and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
• 8+ years of Java-based development or support experience with enterprise/microservices architectures.
• 8+ years developing or supporting modern web applications, including cloud/web-based content.
• English: Fluent (B2 at least).
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior resources.
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-driven.
• Capable of triaging and providing root cause analysis for customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Resolve field issues as the final escalation point.
• Collaborate with L2 and team to troubleshoot production incidents.
• Write functional and design documents for the platform.
• Develop application software for the ELERATM Commerce platform.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and oversee service improvement.
