Coherent Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Java backend developer in Mexico to build high-performance, real-time DSP services and platform features.

You will collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, delivering clean, production-ready code focused on throughput and low latency. The role involves working on distributed systems processing billions of transactions daily under strict SLAs, with exposure to Kafka/Kinesis streams, Docker, and Kubernetes

Formación

• 5+ years of commercial Java backend experience.
• Strong JVM knowledge: GC, profiling, and performance tuning.
• Experience with distributed REST APIs and resilience.
• Hands-on with low-latency, high-throughput services.
• Experience with real-time streaming using Kafka or Kinesis.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Tomcat and web servers.
• Knowledge of networking and load balancing concepts.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD or similar).
• English: B2 or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Develop high-performance, large-scale DSP services and platform features.
• Collaborate with Product team to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, production-ready code with focus on throughput and latency.
• Design, develop, test, and improve platform features.
• Build distributed systems processing billions of transactions per day under SLAs.
• Improve test coverage, monitoring, automation, and observability.
• Follow Agile methodologies in a fast-paced engineering environment.
