Confiz Limited in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Software Engineer with strong backend experience focusing on Java development for a Fortune 500 client. You will build scalable distributed systems and work with modern cloud technologies.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, and deploying backend services, plus on-call support and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have 7+ years in software development and deep SQL/Java expertise.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot with backend focus.
• 5+ years of SQL experience.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• RESTful architecture and microservices experience.
• Cloud technologies (AWS) and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Terraform.
• Monitoring/logging with New Relic and Splunk.
• On-call and production support experience.
• Supply Chain domain experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend systems to support Supply Chain and warehouse services.
• Design, architect, and implement scalable backend Java systems.
• Define, scope, and estimate tasks for efficient delivery.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Perform automated and manual testing to guarantee quality.
• Document system designs and technical decisions clearly.
• Provide on-call support and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities.
• Lead small engineering efforts and stakeholder updates.
• Participate in debugging and root cause analysis.
