BairesDev is seeking a Backend Engineer (Java) to design and develop scalable services and microservices using the JVM and Spring Boot.

You will build RESTful APIs, manage data with JPA/Hibernate and SQL, and work with Kafka, Docker, and automated tests to ensure reliability.

Formación

• 4+ years of software engineering with backend focus.
• Proficient in Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and SQL databases.
• Docker and Kafka experience.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement high-performance microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Manage data persistence and complex queries using JPA/Hibernate and SQL databases.
• Develop and maintain real-time data pipelines and messaging with Apache Kafka.
• Ensure code quality and reliability with unit tests (JUnit).
• Containerize applications and manage deployments with Docker for consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements.
