Cummins Inc. in Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León, Mexico is seeking an IT Sr. Solutions Engineer to join our Information Technology team.

This 100% onsite role partners with business functions to define and implement information systems, drive digital manufacturing initiatives, and ensure solutions meet business and technical needs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT or digital manufacturing experience, strong Ignition, SQL, and Power BI skills, and advanced English proficiency.

Formación

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related subject.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, digital manufacturing, or related roles.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ignition platforms.
• Strong experience with SQL databases and Power BI.
• Advanced English proficiency (80%+).

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes on time and within scope.
• Drive digital manufacturing initiatives using Agile methods and sprint planning.
• Own and improve processes, systems, or metrics for the IT department.
• Define business success criteria for medium to large initiatives.
• Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Manage requirement changes with stakeholder approval.
• Validate solutions to meet business and technical needs.
• Review test plans and support testing to reduce risk.
• Coordinate resolution of moderate to complex issues.
• Build strong relationships with business, IT, and operations teams.
