Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer in Nuevo León to assist with design and implementation of manufacturing processes. You will work on workstation design, process improvements, and documentation, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s in mechanics, mechatronics, or industrial engineering, and strong skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with advanced English. On-site work with relocation support may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanics, mechatronics, or industrial engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks with ability to read and modify drawings.
• Experience supporting new line development, workstation and process design, and standard work documentation.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, ergonomics, and efficiency in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with workstation design and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects to design and implement manufacturing processes ensuring safety, goals, and product specifications are met.
• Apply manufacturing principles to improve equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources on project assignments and learn Cummins processes.
