Job summary

EX Squared LATAM is seeking a Senior IT Audit & GRC Specialist for its Mexico team. The role supports internal audits across technology, information security, IT controls, risk management and compliance.

The position is permanent, full-time, hired directly by the client on Mexican payroll, with hybrid work in Mexico City or Guadalajara. Key responsibilities include coordinating audit requests, evidence collection and remediation, translating audit requirements for stakeholders, and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of IT Audit, Internal Audit, IT Assurance, Technology Risk, or related experience.
• Experience in large, regulated or professional services environments.
• Knowledge of NIST, COSO and ISO 27001 control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support internal technology, security, risk and compliance audits.
• Coordinate end-to-end audit-support process and stakeholders.
• Translate audit requirements into actionable tasks for teams.
• Collect, organize and review audit evidence for submission.
• Coordinate requests and communication with auditors, auditees and owners.
• Provide guidance on audit expectations, timelines and remediation.
• Support development of Plans of Action and Milestones for remediation.
• Monitor remediation activities and escalation when deadlines risk missing.
• Analyze IT and security procedures for compliance with policies and frameworks.
• Build relationships with auditors, leadership and technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings and publish notes and action items.
