Job summary

ZKW Group is seeking a senior engineer to drive manufacturability assessments for plastic components and to guide injection molding processes within automotive lighting systems. The role focuses on integrating production in product development, defining process plans, and ensuring cost-efficient, high-quality output.

You will lead process optimization efforts, share technical feedback with the development team, and ensure alignment with resources and schedules.

Qualifications

University degree in plastics or related engineering required.
Strong knowledge of injection molding and plastics manufacturing.
Experience with DFM and interpreting molding simulations.
English language proficiency level B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

Represent production in product development and integrate production processes.
Lead, assess and provide technical feedback on manufacturability of components.
Define and optimize manufacturing processes for cost-effective, high-quality production.
Serve as process know-how carrier: development/series support and process planning in plastics.
Fulfill tasks and instructions from the supervisor on schedule.
