Job summary

BCS Automotive Interface Solutions is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer specialized in injection molding to develop and optimize production processes for advanced automotive components in Querétaro, Mexico. You will lead mold trials, set parameters, and ensure smooth handover to mass production.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of hands-on experience with engineering plastics and a background in automotive or precision molding, with advanced English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on process engineering experience in injection molding manufacturing.
• Experience with engineering plastics such as PC, PC+ABS, PA, PBT, ABS, PMMA, POM, and their processing characteristics.
• Experience working in an automotive, electronics, or precision injection molding environment.
• Advanced English required.

Responsibilities

• Develop injection molding processes for new products, including mold trials (T0/T1), process parameter setup, and finalization.
• Lead new mold trials, covering parameter debugging, cycle time optimization, gate/runner adjustment, defect analysis, and solution implementation; establish clear acceptance criteria for mass-production handover to ensure a smooth transition from trial to production.
• Optimize cycle time for existing products and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to validate and optimize process windows.
• Establish and maintain Process Parameter Sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
