Job summary

Harvey AI is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to own end-to-end payroll operations for assigned entities in Mexico, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role manages the payroll calendar, reviews inputs, coordinates with payroll partners, and maintains strong controls over payroll taxes and data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on multi-country payroll processing experience, including Mexico payroll exposure.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, taxes, social-security, and employment rules.
• Experience with payroll reconciliations, GL interfaces, and audit support.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets, with automation familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processes for assigned entities, from input collection through review, funding, payment, and post-payroll reconciliation.
• Review payroll calculations for earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, and changes across entities.
• Ensure compliance with country/local requirements, filings, remittances, and year-end obligations.
• Maintain a clear payroll calendar and control timetable for data cutoffs, deadlines, and approvals.
• Manage relationships with external payroll providers and vendors, monitoring SLAs and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, Accounting, Legal and other stakeholders to coordinate inputs and resolve issues.
• Support statutory/year-end processes, including tax filings and social-security submissions.
• Prepare payroll reporting and insights for leadership (headcount, gross-to-net, employer costs, variances).
• Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and scale payroll processes across entities.
• Respond to employee payroll questions with confidentiality and clarity.
• Continuously improve payroll data quality and controls as Harvey scales.
