Job summary

LEDVANCE is seeking a Sr. Accounting Analyst to join our Finance organization and support US & Canada accounting operations in a global environment.

This role will focus on General Ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations, working closely with local teams and US/Canada stakeholders to ensure accurate financial information. We value strong English communication and solid SAP experience, with a hybrid work model that supports collaboration across borders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in General Ledger, R2R, accounting or shared services environments, including month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Experience with payroll, accruals/provisions, expenses, liabilities and GR/IR.
• SAP experience; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Intermediate-Advanced English and strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with US & Canada stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review General Ledger activities for US & Canada, including pre-close and month-end closing.
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations, including payroll, accruals/provisions, expenses, liabilities and intercompany accounts.
• Review accounting entries, identify discrepancies and follow up on open items and required adjustments.
• Work closely with local teams and US & Canada stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Support audit requirements and financial reporting, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with established accounting processes.
