Oferta confidencial seeks a General Ledger Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes from our Mexicali office.

You will prepare journal entries, manage reconciliations, and ensure IFRS and local GAAP compliance, while collaborating with Controllers and other stakeholders to deliver reliable financial results.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Economics.
• +5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Experience with US-based clients/operations.
• Knowledge of IFRS; GAAP knowledge is a plus.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Support IFRS accounting and local GAAP requirements.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and IFRS 16 tasks.

We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant to support key accounting and reporting activities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations.
• Support IFRS accounting and local GAAP requirements.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and IFRS 16 activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit requests.
• Partner with Controllers, Finance Managers, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate financial results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Economics.
• +5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Experience handling accounting for clients or operations in the United States.
• Knowledge of IFRS; local GAAP knowledge is a plus.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and communication skills.
