Job summary

LEGO Group in Monterrey is seeking a Sr Accounting Specialist to build a best-in-class General Ledger function within Business Service Operations. You will own key GL tasks, support month-end closes, and provide insightful financial analysis for US and Canadian entities.

The six-month assignment emphasizes ownership, collaboration and process excellence while delivering accurate reporting and reliable financial information to partners and auditors.

Qualifications

• Prepared data and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
• Oversaw month-end close activities and related accounting deliverables.
• Managed General Ledger accounting processes in a Finance function or similar role.
• Used Microsoft Office tools at an experienced level.
• Worked with an enterprise-wide accounting system, preferably SAP or BlackLine.

Responsibilities

• Control GL activities for US and Canadian entities during month-end close.
• Provide financial data, analysis and practical advice to support business decisions.
• Coordinate with auditors and Tax team on reporting and reconciliations.
• Maintain balance-sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting across entities.
